The Industree - Social Networking for The Service Industry & Lets Grow Together.

About

Our Mission: To provide a community for people in the service industry to interact and communicate with one another while belonging to a social organization in which they receive an array benefits.

Our Story: The concept of "The Industree" was derived after analyzing what and who we are as demographic of people. We are a group of people who enjoy meeting others within the same profession, if you will. When we encounter others who do what we do, as with any occupational trade or profession, a relationship forged. Common exchanges include inquiries as to where one is employed followed by invitations to visit one another at their given place of work. These exchanges are the root of our sacred community which expands daily without notice. What then happens? We befriend these chance encounters while seeking them in our repetoire of outing destinations, along with referring them to others in our community. There is a cyclical effect and something has been needed to bridge these relationships. There in lies "The Ind-us-tree," a social network for us to communicate and interact with one another while fertilizing the roots of chance encounters with a wider and more accesible online community.

When referring to people who do what we do they are most commonly referred to as being in the "industry"; the service industry that is. Most professions have organized groups and associations, so why not one for our industry? We know something about many things and most of us have or are in pursuit of some degree of higher education. The point is that we are a limitless group with much to offer one another as well as to others. People in the industry enjoy being out and about. We are in tune with where is hot, what is hot, who is hot, etc. We have to be in order to relate this information to those whose experiences we shape daily. We have extremely competitive incomes that in some cases exceeds six figures. We enjoy spending money and because of what we do our schedules are flexible thus dining, travel, shopping, etc. are all part of our regular routines. As a demographic of people we are economically powerful with a great deal of influence both within our association and with those whom we serve. We intend to establish not only an online community, but also a membership in which those who are a part of "The Industree" will receive special discounts, rates and offers from those with whom we seek sponsorship. We intend to establish relationships with restaurants, bars, clothing outlets, hotels, etc. We will be leveraging our power as an economic and informational community to create these relationships and bring you, "The Industree", all the benefits you deserve! Everyone likes to belong to something, "The Industree" is ours...let's grow it!
