Excitement, ecstasy, and frenzy all over. Yes, that's what characterized my beloved country Ghana,West Africa, from Friday, 21:10 to Saturday, 19:20(GMT) when the president of USA Mr. Barack Obama and his family got off the Air Force One for an official visit. The mood was something to behold.I must say that they were welcomed with our traditional hospitality and love amidst drumming and dancing. His discussion with the politicians is not what i am interested in right now. What caught my attention was how he struggled to find words to express his feelings after he and his family were taken round the Cape Coast Castle. This place used to be a Slave Castle where our people were kept before transported to their destination. Also, it's a place all especially black people in diaspora must see.You may have heard about it. But do you want to see it physically? Or you want to feel how cruel they were subjected to. Why don't you find time and visit this and other places in Ghana. YES, COME EXPERIENCE GHANA'S NATURAL AFFECTION.
His visit was very heart warming, and like you said i loved how they were drumming and dancing, i think his visit was great for this country, i have a few close friends from Ghana, it really meant alot for them that he was there...
